General Tips for the Best Result
Before you open the manual for your specific model, here are a few basic rules for a perfect result:
- The Right Glue: For gluing the PLA parts, we prefer using a high-quality superglue (cyanoacrylate). Apply the glue sparingly; a small drop is often enough.
- Painting: Do you want to add color to your model? It is often easier to paint the individual parts before assembling them. Use acrylic paint for this, and for perfect adhesion: a primer suitable for plastics.
- Natural Details: Are you working on the fishing boat? Do not forget to consult our page on the Use of Natural Materials for that unique finish with birch bark and sand.
